It feels like every time I stop by La Maison Du Chocolat, I’m sucked into buying chocolate. Perhaps as the name implies, it’s truly the house of chocolate and don’t people say home is where our heart belongs? Yeah, I guess that’s why.
La Maison Du Chocolat have been spoiling our palates for more than 30 years and every time with different but cutting-edge creations made with top of the line ingredients – their finest cacao.
This Christmas, they’re introducing five new creations with the wonders of winter, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!
Wonders of Christmas gift Box, featuring Spicy Cocoa, Praline Masquerade, Lemon bergamot, Silky Almond and Clementine Square.
These beautifully crafted chocolates were delicate but each bite featured an explosion of flavors, which made them sinfully moreish! I almost couldn’t stop myself from devouring them all at once. My favourite was definitely the Praline Masquerade, while you won’t get hit over the head with the taste of almond praline as you might expect from the name, the almond flavor was there but not overpowering, along with teeny pieces of silky dates which added a subtle sweetness and a pleasing textural chew.
If you want a little something extra and like a little bitterness in your chocolate, try the Spicy Cocoa. There’s an obvious note of spiciness with a refine kick of roasted cocoa beans.
How is Christmas complete without macaroons (#fatasslogic)? There’re plenty of macaroon gift boxes out there but not all of them are as good. However, the ones from La Maison Du Chocolat never fail to amaze me. Their holiday macaroon gift box comes with a selection of 6 macaroons, featuring their seasonal flavors: Rosé Champagne ganache and Brut Champagne ganache. These delicately beautiful morsels with heart of ganache steal most girls’ hearts and yes, they stole mine too.
…work hard, eat harder!
