To celebrate the 8th Anniversary of Hotel LKF by Rhombus, Azure Restaurant Slash Bar is introducing a celebratory set dinner menu to share the joyful festivity. This 4-course menu features a variety of ingredients from sea to land, starting with an appetizing scallop ceviche and an interesting apple soup to a choice of main, including carnivore (Mmm.. US Tenderloin) and vegetarian (Quinoa, roasted veg, walnut and Greek yogurt) options and last but not least, a sweet-enticement ending. The dinner menu includes a glass of champagne G.H Mumm 2006 but you certainly need more booze to make your dining experience more enjoyable. Go for their Absolut cocktails, which are specially created to enhance the anniversary merriment. These 8 lovely creations are all priced at $88 only. So, why not give them a try?
Absolut Elderflower Fizz $88 (Absolut Vodka, elderflower cordial, cloudy apple juice, tonic water, garnished with orange zest)
To begin with, I had a fragrant and refreshing cocktail, slightly too sweet to my liking but definitely a great choice to start your meal in style.
Compostelle Ceviche – citrus marinated Hokkaido scallop with chilled tomato tea
Fresh Hokkaido scallops with a zesty touch, what’s not to love?
Big Apple- Fresh celery, green apple & sliced radish
How does apple soup sound to you? This was prob the first time I have ever tasted an apple soup and I absolutely love it. Nothing heavy but fresh and effervescent, which serves as a healthy counter balance of what came next!
Road 66- US Tenderloin with linguine tree, roasted endives & green pepper jus
Tenderness ticked, beefy flavor, however was absent. Good thing was the tad of bitterness from the endive and the green pepper jus (gravy) made up for that with a brisk kick of flavor.
Norwegian Sea- Sous-vide salmon, ink rice cracker, lemon gel, shiso & plum jus
Melt-in-mouth and succulent salmon, accompanied by an ink rice cracker was decent but not made for ravenous diner.
Bubbles Time- Champagne strawberry macaron
A sweet finale was just the right fix of smooth and bubbly indulgence. I’m quite sure this lovely pink composition can easily steal every girl’s heart and c’mon it’s macaroon, who can say no to it? This foamy and airy strawberry delight certainly drew a beautiful end to my meal.
This special menu is available daily until 30 Sept 2014, at $588 per person.
